CALIFORNIA 'CROSSERS ARE OFF AND RUNNING
SEASON NEWS COMING FAST… HERE’S THE LATEST!
Aaaand…we’re off! Cyclocross racing in California is once again out of the gate and heading for turn one.
The CX scene is in a full gallop in the central and northern reaches of the Golden State. Witness the WSCXGP early this month, which served as the inaugural event of the new California Cyclocross Series (CACX). By all accounts this West Sacramento foray was big success. There are many more events to come on the CACX calendar, as shown below. Note that the Mammoth Lakes CX has gone away, but we now have the GP Clark Natwick race in San Francisco to look forward to on 9/21. New races including the NorCal So Cal ONE Day championship SHOWDOWN Dec 7th will be in the mix and one more weekend will be added, so be sure to check back at californiaCX.com! Skinny knobbed tires are humming in SoCal as well, with the continuing SoCalCross Prestige Series Happy Hour Tour. This fun and informative series of ‘cross clinics makes a stop at CENTRICsport next Wednesday, 9/24, in Sierra Madre and a few more down the line! For much more information on the Happy Hour Tour, check out the SoCalCross PRESTIGE SERIES Facebook page. And last but certainly not least, we have the moment we SoCal natives have all been waiting for.
