DESCRIPTION

Join us for a fun day of Skills, Drills and short course CX racing at Jeff Seymour Family Center Park in El Monte!

The location is just off the Rio Hondo Bike Path and El Monte Metro (and Metrolink) Transit Station is just a couple miles away. The former elementary school is now an education community center and park space complete with bicycle skills park and open field space for us to create a CX Skills park for the day!

Parking lot at school. Bring your team tent and hang out.

Schedule of Events:

8AM Regisration Opens / Coffee & Snacks
8:30AM CX Skills & Drills Clinic/Warm Up: Basics – Dismount/Remount-Barriers, Stairs, Run Ups, Turning Race Starts
9:30AM CX Practice Races: 1 – Youth/Juniors (20 min) Rade 2 – Cat C (CX 4/5): Beginner (20 min); 3 – Cat B (CX3/4): Intermediate (25 min); Race 4 – Women (25 min) – Race 5 – Cat A (CX1-4) (30 min)
11:30AM CX Team Relay Race (8 laps) – 2 or 4 person teams or Solo Any Category

Fees: Clinic: $20 entry fee and $5 additional race. Youth/Juniors under 18 – FREE!

Registration online until Saturday 12 noon. Event Day Registration opens at 8AM. Entry free with Series Passes available.
