#1 – Dec 27th: Woodley CX @ Woodley Park, Sepulveda Recreation Area
#2 – Jan 3rd: LA Grinder & Brew Ride – Pasadena and LA’s hidden hills
#3 – Jan 17th: Monument CX – Legg Lake Whittier Narrows plus Emerald Necklace River Ride
#4 – Jan 24th: SoCalCross WORLDS-Season Finale! – Corriganville Classic CX-MTB-Relay!

All Cross Fever participants are automatically entered in the season end SoCalCross Worlds Drawing January 31st to win a TRP Carbon CX Fork valued at $579 and an American Classic Hurricane Tubeless Disc Wheelset valued at $750!

Monument Cross & Emerald Necklace Ride! Sunday, January 17th!

A week after USA Cycling’s CX National Championships, the SoCalCross Fever WINTER Series resumes Sunday January 17th with Monument Cross race #3 will take place at a new venue, the famed Legg Lake at Whittier Narrows Recreation Park in South El Monte. So why not host a cross country run on the CX course as this venue is known for its premier cross country running trails! If you are looking for a different experience this time of year… SoCalCross will also be hosting a fun ride from the Emerald Necklace route Rio Hondo and San Gabriel River trails 30-40 miles to the “National Monument”, the San Gabriel Mountains, via the Emerald Necklace using the river trail system along the Rio Hondo and San Gabriel Rivers. Yes there will be a dirt!

Monument Cross event schedule:

8:00 AM Legg Lake 7k Cross Country Run = 2 laps of the CX course!

8:30 AM Emerald Necklace Grinder Ride along the San Gabriel & Rio Hondo River Trails!

9:00 AM First Timer, Juniors, Youth

10:00 AM Men 55+65+.Women 35+, Men C (AM)

11:00 AM Men 35+B 45+B, Women ABC

11:50 AM Kiddie Cross – Doggie Cross

12:00 PM Men A, 45A, Men B

1:00 PM Single Speed: Men A. B, Women, Collegiate, Men C (PM)

2:00 PM Fixed Gear, FAT Bike, Coaster Brake

DIRECTIONS:

Take the Metro Bus just about anywhere to El Monte Station… the largest bus station west of Chicabo! Then a few miles south along the Rio Hondo Bike Path to Whittier Narrows. Metrolink also stops at the El Monte Station.

Race Parking is $6. Enter off Rosemead Blvd. Just south of the 60-pomona Freeway
