**We’ll be making final adjustments to the GPS files over the next couple of days and post official “for download” files and cue sheets.
The Backbone TROFEE will roll out of JRA’s parking lot bright and early, on a short pavement warm-up before swinging onto dirt trails in and around the historic paramount Ranch western movie set town and abandoned racetrack. From there, the ride hits the famous Rock Store Climb on Mulholland Highway before turning onto a 12-mile single-track and dirt road adventure along the Backbone Trail. Any ride into the Santa Monica Mountains would not be complete without a visit to the ocean, so accordingly the Backbone TROFEE enjoys several miles of sea breezes along Pacific Coast Highway before heading to the finish up Sycamore Canyon, through Hidden Valley and along Agoura Road.
Ale and good food will await al finishers. Participants will earn valuable points toward TROFEE series prizes and awards. Recommend cyclocross gravel bikes with climbing gears. Mountain bikes good choice as well. Road bike recommend MTB pedals shoes and 28 tires, doable for the strong hearted!
