Our goal is to create cyclists for life. To provide a welcoming, helpful atmosphere and develop strong, lasting relationships with our clients and our community.

Montrose Bike Shop was founded in 1955. Nestled in the charming foothill community of Montrose, CA. The surrounding mountains, hills and valleys provide a diverse and cherished network of trails, paths and roads for cyclists of all abilities. The many small shops, cafes and restuarants make the post ride more fun and enjoyable.

We love what we do here and are excited to share our passion for cycling with all our customers. We are ambassadors for cycling in our community and promote many cycling causes including safe paths to school, local high school cycling leagues and the IMBA. We engourage all cyclists to commute by bike whenever possible and we’ll provide free clinics for those wanting to embrace the bicycle as an alternative transportation.

We carry an excellent selection of bicycles accessories and clothing for everybody from the best manufacters in the industry. Our staff is friendly and highly trained to help you make a informed purchases from a new bicycle to a small tool kit. Our mechanics are experienced experts who are happy to share their knowledge from answering a simple question to getting rid of that annoying creak in the bottom bracket.
