The Southern California Prestige Series of Cyclocross formed in 2005 by an association of  cycling clubs motivated to become the premier cyclocross series in Southern California and the nation! The SoCalCross Prestige Series hosts races weekly across Southern California kicking off with the Happy Hour Tour series of promotional clinics and events running from September to January each year.  SoCalCross also hosts gravel events in the Spring and Summer signature LA Roubaix kicks off our Spring/Summer gravel ride season!

CX Practice Skills & Race Thursday 10/13!
Join us for a fun evening of cyclo-cross at Verdugo Park in Glendale
 SoCalCross’ longest standing CX race Turkey Trot Cross coming up Nov 27th!

EVENT SCHEDULE:

  • 4:00PM Registration Opens
  • 4:30PM CX Skills & Drills Practice
  • 5:00PM CX Practice Race (20 min) – Cat C (CX4-5) Beginners, Women & Juniors
  • 5:30PM CX Practice Race (25 min) – Cat A/B (CX1-5)
  • 6:00PM CX Practice Race (20 min) – Team Relay & Solo Any Category

Cost $10 entry.  Good for all races . $5 for Juniors 18 and under. CX Bike rentals available $10 online only.  Size 54, 56, 58.

SoCal Gravel Trofee Finale POSTPONED!
Due to unforeseen circumstances we will be postponing the SoCal Gravel Finale to a later date and location to be announced.
Instead join Raleigh Bicycles Santa Monica for an adventurous gravel group ride from the shop.  Afterwards enjoy lunch next door at Ashland Hill Oktoberfest Happy Hour all day $5 brew to celebrate!  Beforehand enjoy some Coffee next door at Main Squeeze starting at 7:30AM.  Raleigh has a few CX bikes available for demo sizes 54 Roker and 56 Willard models.  Give Raleigh a call to reserve a demo bike today!

Whittier Narrows  Recreation Area (WRNA) is centrally located from LA to OC!  The River Trail systems of the Rio Hondo connects to the LA River and the San Gabriel River Trail connects the moutains to the sea connecting at WNRA!  El Monte Station mass transit hub of the San Gabriel Valley connects Meto Bus and MetroLink rail systems less than 5 miles to the Park.
