WOODLAND HILLS, California, January 2, 2024 – Santa Cross weekend took place in Woodland Hills, CA Dec 16-17, 2023, with cyclocross racers facing a challenging course with punchy climbs during the holiday season.
Beautiful sunny days continue to persist at the SoCalCross series this year, with temps into the high 70’s and calm conditions each day.
Aine Chen (Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY24 team) dominated the Elite Women’s category at Pierce College, taking victory on both the Saturday and Sunday race days.
In the Elite Men’s category, Joshua Anderson (Denver Disruptors) took the win on Saturday; while Kent Hammond (PAA Cycling) was the winner on Sunday’s modified course.
