Pacifica Crossfest: The newest race on the So Cal Cross Prestige Series will be held in Camarillo on September 25th. The venue is Casa Pacifica, which serves abused, neglected, and severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents from the Tri-County areas of Southern California.
Hosted by M4K Cycling… this event promises to be fun! The race course will traverse most of the campus and at ~2.5KM in length, promises to be fun! Fairly flat terrain will have racers on grass, dirt, asphalt and even riding through a barn! There will be a couple sets of barriers, stairs, and a BMX style section that spectators will certainly enjoy! Along with a great expo, the Conejo Kiwanis will be offering a BBQ lunch from 11-3; tickets purchased with pre-reg are $8, day-of $10. Also, the first 500 registered riders will receive a swag bag! Average high temperature for Camarillo in September is in the low 70s. Looking forward to a great day of racing so bring the whole family! Race day registration opens at 7:30AM!
Casa Pacifica is a residential facility licensed by the State of California. State regulations and Casa Pacifica rules PROHIBIT DRUGS OR ALCOHOL TO BE ON THE PREMISES. Also CP does not allow aluminum cans on facility premises for safety reasons.
