The Southern California Prestige Series of Cyclocross formed in 2005 by an association of cycling clubs motivated to become the premier cyclocross series in Southern California and the nation! The SoCalCross Prestige Series hosts races weekly across Southern California kicking off with the Happy Hour Tour series of promotional clinics and events running from September to January each year. SoCalCross also hosts gravel events in the Spring and Summer signature LA Roubaix kicks off our Spring/Summer gravel ride season!

Join us Sunday, October 24th for the 2010-11 SoCalCross Prestige Series stop number 6: SLO Cross #1 at El Chorro Regional Park! Racing for all levels! Looking forward to some fun and quality cyclocross racing! All proceeds will go to the San Luis Obispo County Bicycle Coalition and San Luis Obispo County Parks Junior Lifeguards program. The Bicycle Coalition will be providing $5 beers to those of age as well as a pancake breakfast for all that are hungry. THE COURSE: The course is a mix of pavement, and dirt. Fast start with a mixture of flowing and tight corners. A sand pit will help break things up as well as a sprial. Each lap is approx. 3km in length. Races are timed circuits on the course based on category.
